Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program For International Students

Embark on a unique journey with the prestigious Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program for International Students. This exclusive opportunity is made possible by the Japanese Government, which provides six distinct types of awards through the MEXT (Monbukagakusho) awards program.

The MEXT program offers a variety of scholarships tailored to different academic pursuits. These include scholarships for study students, teacher internship students, undergraduate students, specialized training college students, Japanese research students, and college of technology students. The scholarships are further categorized into two broad classes:

  • The Embassy suggestions: this award course is exclusively dependent on Embassy suggestions, so to get an embassy suggestion, candidates are required to present their requests to the Japanese consulate in their home nations for the first screening.
  • Institutional Recommendation: The institution suggests that MEXT awards be provided to students who have communicated their interest, assessed, and then indicated by the institution.
